Who are we?
VT REA is a member-driven organization that aims to build sustainable rural communities in Vermont through a keen focus on place, students, teachers, research, policy, and community. Through uplifting the social capital of rural schools and their communities, VT REA serves as a community of practice, research, and policy for rural educators and communities. We aim to grow strong rural teacher leaders, give them voice, and provide them with supportive networks and resources, all in service of promoting quality educational opportunities and experiences for all children from rural communities in Vermont.
